    I can understand why this rule is applaid. But sometimes you can see all thumbnail attachments but then you can't open them... maybe the software which controls this new policy isn't foolproof yet.

    there's also where people post the attachments full size, so you can see them

    Is there a certain amount of posts before you can download attachments? How many?

    I believe you just need to post once, or at least occasionally to view the attachments. You can't just be a lurker.
